How Do I Plan an Event at Regis?

First, plan ahead!

Events pulled together at the last minute are exhausting and less effective. Planning well in advance gives campus partners enough time to support your event, resulting in higher attendance and better execution.

  • Well before your event date, complete the Regis Event Request Form.
    • Be sure to have the following information ready when you begin the form:
      •  Basic details like the event name, date, time, duration, specific location and info about sponsors/contacts.
      • A brief description of your event.
      • Info about who you want to attend the event.
      • What setups you will require on the day.
      • What kind of support you need from units across the university like Dining, ITS, MarCom, Parking, Campus Safety, Physical Plant or Housing
  • Once you submit the form, Event Services staff will send the information you provided to the appropriate offices.
    • Please remember: Campus partners need your active participation to understand your needs and execute your requests. You may need to meet with them to discuss and clarify your requests, and it is essential that you respond to questions and requests for reviews/approvals promptly.
  • If you are planning a large internal event, you will present at the monthly Regis Events Meeting (REM)
    • REM is a virtual meeting. Please email events@regis.edu or call 303.964.5066 to be placed on the agenda.

Event Lodging

We offer your event attendees the opportunity to stay on the Regis campus without spending their entire budget on overnight accommodations. Our residential spaces provide a comfortable, safe, low-cost option for individuals and groups desiring convenient access to their conference facilities.
